Canoeing in Snow

Canoeing is a popular summer activity, however, you can enjoy it even more in winter if you have appropriate cold weather gear. “Iwami winery Canoe Village Ohchi” is a camping facility beside a Class A river where visitors can try canoeing. You can also visit the Canoe Museum that features canoes from all over the world.
The Gonokawa River, the largest river in the Chugoku region, flows slowly right by the camping site. The star-filled night sky is all yours to enjoy. Large houses on wheels are available to stay in at the camping site. They enable you to camp safely surrounded by nature even if you are not a camping expert (lodging in winter is highly recommended). In addition, to make your camping experience even more memorable and exciting, try brick-oven pizza cooking and craft making.
The auto-camping facility has group sites that are capable of accommodating up to six families per site, and private sites where people can bring their pets. Water facilities, AC power, shower rooms, toilets, and other facilities are available.
